New Lexus Display to Debut at Detroit Auto Show

Along with the next-generation IS, Lexus will be introducing a new global auto show display at the Detroit Auto Show tomorrow — here’s some details from the press release:

The Lexus display incorporates dramatic features such as an iconic box with mirror accents and an ultrasuede interior to showcase the new LS F SPORT.

LED panels on the floor will be covered with white etched glass and will glow red to bring attention to Lexus’ performance vehicles such as the LFA Nurburgring edition and Lexus F SPORT models.

Other architectural features of the display include large mediascape walls and artfully constructed panels reminiscent of a traditional Japanese stone path.

(With the new IS not debuting until the second day of the auto show, I’ll be spending tomorrow checking out the new Lexus display and sharing photos on my Detroit liveblog.)

The display looks modernist and upscale, which are two traits I associate with the brand.

I look forward to seeing this soon at the NAIAS next week. I may never decide to buy my own Lexus, but I greatly respect the brand and will sing but praise for it where they do well. I don't believe in favorites or fanboyism.
