MotherProof Reviews the 2011 Lexus ES 350

I’ve always been a big fan of MotherProof for their unique focus on cars that work for families, so I’m happy to be able to link to their review of the 2011 Lexus ES 350.

The reviewer was impressed by interior space of the ES, and found the vehicle fun to drive, but wished for more cup holders and storage compartments — overall, she says “for that one week, my automotive life was almost perfect.”

yea..i used to bash the ES when i had my IS, but after driving it..what a worlds of a difference, its such a great car..so enjoyable to drive..so smooth and the engine is responsive..sure it's no s2000 around corners but what do you expect...but for it being a nice cushy rides it does good around corners too!! and then the subtle things that make the ride so goddamn awesome like no engine shakes, quietness of the interior, the interior lights dimming...and more then enough space for my gf's disabled mother to get in and out of the back seat with relative easy when compared to the IS!

I'm a massive fan of the ES -- it reminds me so much of my LS 400. I truly believe that the ES 350 is the perfect car for 95% of the population.

I think this car is just beautiful more than many european sedan so why they didn't sell this in Europe eventually with Toyota brand instead of the Avensis (wich is the most reliable car in his class) but is not good looking like the ES?

It's a good question, I don't really understand why neither the ES nor the Camry are sold in Europe -- I'm going to send an email and find out.

A better question to send is why isn't the ES sold in Australia? Unlike Europe, there is actually a market for the ES in Australia..

Another good question -- but if I recall correctly, there was mention of the next-generation ES coming to Australia .

Awesome review.  No doubt this car is just too advance for the competition, I pick it over any car in the market.  This car still turns head on the street in Beverly Hills.
