Motor Trend Reviews the 2011 Lexus LS 600hL

This Motor Trend review of the 2011 Lexus LS 600hL does a good job at comparing the top-end LS hybrid flagship with its true competitors, the BMW 760Li and the Mercedes-Benz S600.

By bringing the two V12 sedans into the mix, the LSh is found to be on the low side of the power spectrum, but benefits from the increased fuel economy and a super-quiet cabin.

Wow... was the Active Stabilizer Suspension system really that bad?! I guess it's a good thing that Lexus discontinued it... or maybe they should've designed a better system. Or maybe they should use those crazy Bose suspensions! :D

As if the new hybrid grille isn't ugly enough, they chose a white car to make the grille look almost body-colored and thus even more bland and cheap and ugly. Amazing how much difference a grille can make because when I first saw the original LS600hL it was love at first sight. Now it just looks like a Camry, only uglier. Very disappointed with the facelift for the sake of facelift.

I don't care what others said ... but this is a great Big Sedan for me ! But ... erm , can I have a darker grille ? I don't like Chrome Grille .

Yeah, the LSh looks great with a dark grille: http://lexusenthusiast.com/2011/02/09/lexus-ls-600hl-sports-line-black-bison-body-kit-by-wald/

The first thing I would change (as if I could afford the car in the first place) is that cheap looking grille with one from the LS 460 or LS 460 Sport.
