The Japanese Lexus CT 200h comes equipped with a very interesting new feature: the Harmonious Driving Navigator, a service that connects the car to the Internet and gives the ability to track fuel efficiency online and compete against other CT 200h drivers.
I only have the translation of the Japanese webpage for information, but looks like points are awarded depending on where you drive in the Hybrid Eco Meter:
From there, I believe all drivers are ranked by overall efficiency and various other categories.
The part that really impressed me — these earned points can be used to fund different charitable initiatives from the Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan. Brilliant idea all round.
