Lexus GS 450h Photos: Cryogenic

Down the street from my house is Industrial Cryogenic Enterprises Ltd., which is basically an old, (seemingly) abandoned garage out in the middle of nowhere.

Not only does it make me think of cryogenically frozen Futurama heads every time I pass, but it’s also the perfect place to take grunged-out car photos — so that’s exactly what I did with a Lexus GS 450h a couple months back (click any image for a larger version):

I liked the contrast with the super-bright photos I did over at the Hydro station, even though I used most of the same car poses.

(That’s the end of my photos & coverage of the GS 450h — special thanks to Lexus Canada for providing this vehicle for review.)

Job well done young man ! One question did you clean the car yourself cos she looks pretty clean !! Did you use any effects on the photo's ? looks like a slight high pass effect ... Well done - Mark

A fiercely photogenic car and a highly gifted photographer. Can't go wrong with that! :-)

Believe it or not, the car has completely covered in dust -- you just can't see it because of the color. As for the photo processing, I've just started using Adobe Lightroom to clean up my photos. I've been trying to choose a "mood", and will then tweak until I get it right. :-)

Very nice car and i am sure a GS450h would be a wonderful car to own & drive. The GS460 however would defantly be my pick in the GS stable. Excellant photo's !!

wow, great pictures. i was wondering, what kind of camera do use KREW?

Nice choice for location and backdrop. The rich textures of the ground and the bricks and doors of the building really make a nice contrast to the sheen of the lexus body. I like the Hard Light effect.

Lexus Norway just released the CT200h price list, and it 's a very good read. With Norwegian new car taxes favouring cars with low co2 emissions, the CT has only 1/3 the new car tax compared to it's German rivals.
