Lexus LFA Rockets Around Fuji Speedway

The lucky folks at Nihon Car had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to drive one of the Lexus LFAs used in this year’s Nürburgring 24h race around the Fuji Speedway in Japan:

With much of the interior stripped away to save weight, the sound in the cabin has been amplified to almost pure aural speed — absolute music to my ears.

THIS is what the Nurburgring Edition should've been, totally stripped of any sound deadening materials! If I were an LFA owner I'd defintely want to be able to enjoy the same heavenly engine note that people outside the car are able to hear, not some muted, muffled, diluted stuff. Without all those unnecessary dead weights the car could've easily outrun the GT2 RS (which has barely any sound deadening materials either) for sure.

Great to see that Lexus has evolutionized the Enduro LFA. However, I think next year they should be much better perhaps engine mods as well? Very heart broken that this thing getting pass like a piece of cake by the SP9 GT3's. And I mean they are a dime a dozen there. Geez..
