In its first month, the HS 250h racked up 543 sales—not bad considering the model is having a “soft” launch in the US, with units slowly being distributed throughout the dealerships as they arrive from Japan. As well, the RX continues to do well, with a modest 7.9% increase over last year’s August sales.
On the flipside, the IS convertible doesn’t look to be having much of an impact on boosting the overall IS numbers, with the model continuing to come in under last year’s sales.
(All told, Lexus has managed to retain its position as the #1 luxury car brand in the USA, with just over 1,000 units separating them from BMW.)
