Lexus SC Wheel spacers, Yes or No??

I have a 2004 SC430 with wheel spacers. Love the look but noticed a lot more creaking and noises from the roof compared to without. Just the other day my windshield cracked coming out of a bumpy parking lot driveway. Spacers obviously change how the car sits and puts strain on different parts of the body. Thoughts on the spacers causing my windshield crack? Love the look but should I remove them?
