If this was Toyota it would be screamed by everyone. Funny I had a debate on FB and did some digging and didn’t realize Honda has scored below average with JD Power reliability surveys for like the past 8 years.

The probe by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration covers the 2016 through 2020 Honda Pilot and Acura MDX, as well as the 2018 through 2020 Honda Odyssey and Acura TLX. The 2017 through 2019 Honda Ridgeline is included in the probe too.

-Those in glass houses proverb applies here.
-I dont know how honda fans logic things out, cause their own ceo acknowledged at a time that their warranty costs were due to bad qdr standards.
-I assume this will be pinned on a supplier?
-Days of blindly assuming that Japense mfgs can do wrong, might be up? Reliability is on a curve.

Having worked at a Honda service department a few years ago, this doesn't surprise me at all. It just sucks that news like this only become well known to the general public many years after the problems were initially found out, because a ton of your average Joe would've continued to fork out their money to buy these cars without knowing they have bought something that is already known to be a problematic crapbox by people who are more in touch with the car industry and cars in general.

Yeah i’m reading around a ton of people who have paid out of pocket for these issues are now saying “told you”. It also seems like the techs don’t like working on warranty work as Honda forces them lower pay saying the job takes less time to fix than it actually does. Not good.
