Lexus IS F Thinking of getting Lexus IS 350f

Hey guys,
I'm new here and am going to be graduating from Uni soon. I've driven the 2016 Lexus IS that my roommate has and liked the feel of the car. I am a bit hesitant to buy a 2019 just because of the cost of a new car and depreciation - hence looking at used options around 25k miles.

Keeping in mind the long warranty, I'd want to get a used car with as long a warranty as possible so I had the 2017 model in mind. Is it better to stick to a 2016/17 or go for the 2018?
My budget is flexible so I'm not entirely concerned there.
I live in Houston so I know I don't have to deal with snowy conditions and am just interested in the RWD.

Any and all advice would be appreciated. Problems faced also would help me better. Some problems I know of are replacing brakes and rotors (due to dust) and the stock tires not being the best.

Regards
