This Maybach concept that Mercedes debuted at Pebble Beach is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen -- I honestly think Rolls Royce is the only other brand that could have pulled off such a tone-deaf design. Love it.

You found the source for the car there, @Gecko!
Those roots made me somehow like the design, but the grill is made in a way that i feel "belongs to RR".
Any way; Maybach is a brand that does not have any newer roots to follow up (except being the favorite brand for the German with the "Chaplin mustache", but that does not affect the design). That will give them more ways to turn the pen. Great design, but the length of the car will make it more difficult to handle in a parking house in the city. But that might be a smaller problem for the owners....
