Interesting videos. So Aisin, Denso and Toyota are not happy with first gen e-axles on the bZ4X and are already working on much improved second and third generation ones?

Like others have mentioned here and elsewhere, the bZ4X is not really competitive. Looks like mass producing BEVs by Toyota will really kick in around 2025 and it's not in a hurry to lay its best technologies and designs out on the current and upcoming BEVs.

Also, Kirk talks about fast charging towards the end of his video so I am guessing solid state batteries are going to come second half of the decade.

Thought I'd share as not many are talking about these, maybe because 2025 is about three years away lol

2025 is just a hair over 2 years away! Toyota really seems to be waiting until solid state batteries are ready for the masses to really go full steam ahead with BEVs. I don't blame them. BEVs are still a tiny percentage of sales even worldwide.
