Similarly sized to the outgoing two-door E-class, the CLE packs four- and six-cylinder engines and a cabin ripped straight out of the C-class sedan.

So now trending towards:
Small, Medium, Smalledium or Large
4 door Blob or 2 door Blobs

One of these is the E Coupe, C Coupe, and CLE Coupe.

The new CLE is just a new-gen C-Class coupe, renamed CLE to align it more with E and charge higher prices.

Interior and dimensions tell the true story though, C-Class interior, fixed B-Pillar, and wheelbase, and GLC-Coupe taillights reused on the tail. At the very least, they offer an i6 which the C-Class doesn't offer.

But yeah, overall incredibly lazy effort from Mercedes on these coupes.

It sadly doesn’t move me at all. Styling is okay nothing amazing. Same c class interior. I don’t like the CLE name either. I do want coupes so happy it’s here but what a change.

Absolutely. One of the great cars every generation. CL or S class coupe. Truly sad it’s gone.

Such a shame. The executive coupe needs to make a comeback, with a proper stately yet elegant looking body... The Rolls Spectre is a good start.. BMW needs to revamp the 8er Coupe to make it look more flagship too but that seems to bet set out to the pasture too.

So while right now Mercedes is making a bunch of crossover coupe Frankensteins that look like dogs taking a crap, BMW is making cars that look like they enjoy sniffing and eating said dog crap.
