Maybe Lexus version has the full system with hybrid while the GR is just the TTV8?

Luxury leanings vs performance experience
Continental vs 911

My expectation has always been multiple models derived or benefitting from the GT3 platform work.

I imagine these are the first two?
Do you think it will be like the Gen 2 NSX situation? Sell it as GR around the world and sell as Lexus in NA.

Sorda a stretch, but I wonder if the LFR will be unveiled at either the Rolex 24 at Daytona or the Qatar 1822 KM WEC. Chevrolet unveiled the Corvette Z06 GT3.R race car a year before it made its competition debut in Daytona (they did this back in 2023).

I will be at the Rolex 24 with Lexus Racing excited as all heck so if it does I would have a heart attack.

I think the RCF Final Edition will be the car as it makes sense there are in its last year fighting a championship with the platform.

I've seen this thing in person. It's slick, not too huge, but the proportions & sectioning didn't immediately blow me away.

Seems like we will be seeing the GT3 reveal here soon in the states. “The GT3 concept is said to be headed to the U.S. early this year to start its IMSA-related development ahead of its racing debut next January in Daytona.”

They still don’t want to mention whether this will be badged as a Lexus or not.
