Lexus IS F SPORT Black Line Special Edition

Now written as one word (Blackline), the 2020 model year brings us a sequel to this Special Edition IS. Unlike the red-accented interior of the 2019 Black Line Special Edition, the interior accents for the 2020 Blackline Special Edition are blue. To quote from the Lexus USA news release:

Exclusive black-and-gray seats are featured throughout, which are accented with Indigo Blue stitching to provide a cool, subtle contrast on the knee pads, dash, and door trim. The driver will appreciate the Indigo Blue accents on the heated wood steering wheel, which is accompanied by Indigo Blue accents on the door switch panels and glove box.

In other words, what we have here is the USA's version of Japan's I Blue Lexus IS.

The exterior of the 2020 Blackline sees pretty much the same distinctive touches as the 2019 iteration (18" split spoke wheels with a black vapor chrome finish, black chrome front grille surround and black exterior mirrors). As to exterior color choices, 2020 shares 2019's Obsidian and Ultra White options but 2020 sees Ultrasonic Blue 2.0 replace 2019's Atomic Silver. As with 2019, all 2020 Blackline models are equipped with Navigation and triple beam LED headlamps.

One other important distinction for 2020 is that Blackline is now offered on IS 350 RWD and AWD F Sport models in addition to their IS 300 counterparts (2019 Black Line was IS 300 F Sport-only). As with 2019, only 900 copies will be sold in the U.S., arriving this coming November. Pricing is as follows:
