With all the cars pretty much new or refreshed sans the outgoing XK, things hopefully improve for them.

Starting with the new 2016 model year vehicles, the Jaguar brand will have an improved competitive value position via steps such as increased standard equipment or new lower MSRP choices by model. Also starting in model year 2016, all Jaguar models will come standard with Jaguar EliteCare, an ownership package with class-leading five-years or 60,000-mile warranty, complimentary scheduled maintenance coverage, roadside assistance and Jaguar InControl® Protect & RemoteTM2. Beginning in the spring of 2016, the Jaguar brand value story further transforms with two new entry luxury vehicles, the 2017 Jaguar XE compact luxury sedan, starting at $34,9001, and the 2017 Jaguar F-PACE compact luxury SUV, starting at $40,9901.

with class-leading five-years or 60,000-mile warranty, complimentary scheduled maintenance coverage,

A 5/60 warranty in itself is nothing great, especially for the luxury-vehicle class...even 25K entry-level Buicks and Acuras have 6/70 and 4/50. But, if that Jaguar offer also means a 5/60 free maintenance policy as well, then, yes, that would be something new and unusual. I don't know of any other mass-production automaker that includes free maintenance that long. Of course, Jaguar's historically low sales mean that they generally have to offer incentives like this just to move their products, especially in the American market.

The XE is a promising sedan, and that F-PACE will definitely be on many shopping radars...Jaguar finally figured out some finer details on being a luxury manufacturer with its maintenance, since its sales have been on the decline.

Which means not much. Cadillac offered us free scheduled maintenance on our 2011 CTS sedan and we never got it because the dealer REFUSED to service the car until the on board computer showed less than 20% oil life remaining.
We turned the car in after 2 years with less than 7000 miles on it and only ONE oil change.
They offer it, but THEY control if and when you can use it, if at all.
