With multiple OEMs publicly announcing the EV push, and even winding down dates of ICE development, most recently Hyundai what will the engineers who are not ready for retirement in the programs transition to? Are they jumping into heavy industry which will still use ICE for the coming future, move into countries with a delayed EV adoption strategy due to costs and infrastructure, or reimagine themselves for EVs in some capacity?
