The first iteration of this design language looked awful to me (the sedan), but I see a lot of promise here. The ironic part is that the sides and rear, while good looking, feel like a mashup of semi-generic design cues that could be any other brand from any continent. The front still needs some work IMO, but this is overall making me more hopeful for BMW design.

is this the concept or production version?

Interesting to see Lincoln and BMW come up with the same idea on screens

This is a big improvement over current BMW styling. I wonder how much of a concept it is, because none of it's out of range from current production cars except maybe the colors.

Will be interesting to see if these have the new battery pack that manages to cut costs in half as per their current pr rollout.

I agree, the sides and rear look solid, though they do feel a bit familiar. The front could use some refinement, but overall, it’s a step forward for BMW’s design direction.
