Well, looks like the next generations of BMW's class leading compact-exec sport sedans is out testing officially.
Now coming in two separate platforms.
The i3 is chassis code NA0 and on the "Neue Klasse" platform while the 3er is chassis code G50 and going to be on updated version of the current "CLAR" platform
Here is the i3:
Not.. the most attractive proportions.
The G50 3er on the other hand...
Classic 3er proportions with a nice long deck, big greenhouse, and a nicely defined trunk. I think it looks very attractive. And paired with the "Neue Klasse" styling on the front and rear will make for a very fresh and original BMW design.
AND, we will have both an EV "ZA0" M3 (iM3?) and an ICE MHEV "G84" M3.
