Yeah, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Government agencies bought mid-sized, run-of-the-mill, American badged sedans 30 and 40 years ago when I worked for them...and apparently still do. (I was one of the few people in my office who had a separately-issued U.S. Government Drivers' License, and could legally drive them).
