Hello IS300 Owners / Friends & Family.

I recently connected with the AFE - The Cold Air Intake Company - and they tested and produced a Cold Air Intake for my 2023 IS300.

AFE has not made a Cold Air Intake for an IS or any Lexus since 2017 or 18.

The AFE Company used my IS300 as a prototype for testing and Dyno Tuning for the New Intake. They allowed me to keep the Intake as a thank you for using my car. He also added a swoosh on the intake that resembles the design of my headlights. It came out both stunning and amazing. Glad to be the 1st one to have it in a IS300.

The Black Intake is what is currently and the finished product installed in my car.

While waiting for the finishd product to be made, they used a mock-up design and Blue Pipe for testing too. The Dyno had fabulous results with it too. I just decided to go with the all Black Pipe even though Blue Pipe had few more HP Gains.

Now. they are coming out with a Blue Carbon Fiber that I love. So they may hook me up with that one when it finally comes out

Pic #2 & 3 is the Blue Takeda Intake they tested with.

Pic #4 & 5 show the Blue Carbon Intake I hope they come out with.

What Color Intake do you like best and would put on your car?

Let me know what you ladies and gentlemen think.

It’s great that you were able to be part of the testing for the new cold air intake! Both the black and blue options have their appeal. The black intake looks sleek and fits well with a more understated, classy style. On the other hand, the blue intake gives a sporty, vibrant look that can definitely catch some attention. The blue carbon fiber, once available, will likely offer the best of both worlds—high performance and a standout aesthetic. Ultimately, it depends on your personal style and what you want to highlight under the hood!
