Adding CarPlay / Android Auto support for various Lexus models 2013-2020

Hi everyone,

This is my first post to the forum. Just wanted to let you know you can add CarPlay and Android Auto support to various Lexus cars from model year
2013-2020.

I added it to my Lexus 2017 CT200h last December. I love it! It works great! Makes my car feel so up to date and more functional.
I only use the CarPlay feature for my iPhone XS device running iOS 13.

A company in La Mirada, CA sells these upgrade kits. I ordered it from Utah, It came in the mail a few days later. I had a friend at sound Warehouse in Salt Lake City install it for $75, it took him a few hours.

Here is a list of cars it supports
2014-2017 Lexus CT 200h with Factory Navigation
2013-2014 Lexus GS 350 / 450h with or without Factory Navigation.
2015-2017 Lexus GS 200t / 350 / 450h / GS F with or without Factory Navigation
2018-2020 Lexus GS 300 / 350 / 450h / GS F with or without Factory Navigation
2013-2017 Lexus LS 460 / 600h L with Factory Navigation
2013-2019 Lexus RX 350 / 450h with Factory Navigation
2013-2018 Lexus ES 350 / 300h with Factory Navigation
2014-2016 Lexus IS 250 / 200t / 300 / 350 / with Factory Navigation
2015-2017 Lexus RC 200t / 300 / 350 / RC F with Factory Navigation
2015-2017 Lexus NX 200t / 300h with Factory Navigation

I also had one installed in my wife's 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. She loves it. So much easier to use than the Enform / Entwines software.

I own a 2015 RX350 with nav non-Mark Levinson system. Up above you write your list would fit my car, yet when I click on the URL it says its only 2016-2019 RX350. Confused. I wonder what changed

I've used tons of Beatsonic stuff. Great company and great people too. They have NAV/DVD overrides and front cameras and other stuff for our cars. Also a new throttle controller. It's actually on the way for me.

what is the benefit of the throttle controller?
