Lexus hit a new sales record in 2024 and is once again the leader in luxury sales in the states.

I want to say the RX had its best sales year. NX is incredible at 74k units. TX and GX are selling extremely well. ES and RC with bumps up. Incentives helped the RZ a ton.

Electrified hybrid sales continue to grow.

PLANO, Texas (Jan. 3, 2025) – Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) today reported year-end 2024 U.S. sales of 2,332,623 vehicles, an increase of 3.7 percent on a volume basis and an increase of 3.1 percent on a daily selling rate (DSR) basis compared to 2023.

It seems Lexus' 2024 success was driven more by GA-K RX, TX, and ES than GA-F GX and LX, as both of those models posted YoY decreases.

Drop in the GX for model change over makes sense but drop for the LX seems strange to me.

Lexus once again proved that Hybrid is the best solution. If they transition to fully EV, their sales could suffer significantly. Be smart Lexus

Based on a conversation I had with my sales guy, a fair number of people were put off by the LX missing features the GX had, like the massage seats. I assume LX sales will be up in the next year if that was a factor.
