2023 RX 350h - Spare Tire Stored Stem Side Down

I just purchased a 2023 RX 350h and was thrilled that it had a spare tire! My two previous Honda Accord Hybrids didn't have spares.

However, I like to check tire pressures monthly, and I was disappointed to see that the 350h's spare is stored with the stem side down. So in order to check the tire pressure, one needs to remove the center fastener that secures the spare tire and then flip the tire over. I have considered stem extenders and storing the spare stem side up, but neither of those options seems workable.

I'm disappointed that Lexus make this poor design choice. Hopefully, they will find some way to rectify it.

I can assure you Lexus does not care about this minor issue. The next RX is 99% likely to have run-flats and no spare tire anyway.

For information- 2023 RX450h+ plugin doesn't have spare tire because some power/battery modules occupies it's space. I tried to fit it in original place, but unsuccesfuly. So, I will use trunk space for spare tire :(

WTF are people dismantling their new cars under warranty?

It is not a toy project as a GR86, which can be understandable.
