Sorry to hear that, RJB1. That is what they told me as well. I don't Lexus ever fixing this issue. So I think all we can do is remember that moving forward and not buy another Lexus (and tell others about the experience). Very disappointing.

When you get a chance, let us know how the "fix" is working. Also, do you know the part number of the replacement amp you received? I asked my dealer previously about the part number listed earlier in this thread, but they said it was the same part as is already on my car.

Yeah, I wonder if what they will say over the phone is different than what they are willing to put in writing. I asked for a written confirmation of whether they were working on a fix, and they would not say they were. Hopefully they are and just don't want to commit yet, but I am not holding...

Let us know when you know more. I am reluctant to get hopeful, given their willingness to state the stereo was operating as designed so far. But if they actually offer a fix, obviously that would go a long way toward repairing the significant good will they have lost with customers.
Unfortunately, the dealer here says otherwise, and Lexus corporate has also said otherwise. This appears so far to have just been dealer b.s. to pacify people as subsequent comments/letters/etc. from Lexus have said the system is operating as designed and there is not a fix in progress.
