It disgusts me to see Mark Levinson showing up in a Toyota

Regarding the HSV (NB1 NSX) I’ve a little story I can share after almost 18yrs.
A small group of bikers from Germany asked me If I could organize them some space to sleep, which I did.
(I was working in the tourism business in these days)
If you guys don't recall, Honda had an NB1 NSX in development.I decided to invite them for dinner, soon one of them disclosed that he’s working in the car industry.
He was a external software developer and testdriver for this Honda, because the project was cancelled, he was able to spill the beans.
Honda had no experience with this kind of transmission, that’s why he was asked to help them.
The Honda would’ve flattened the LFA, 5.5L V10 650hp, 9500rpm, 7SP SMG and transaxle.
As it happens, he once even meet the LFA prototype on the German autobahn, he had to lift at 337 km/h GPS, and he was easily able to outrun the LFA.
And this wasn’t even the topspeed, the target was 340km/h.
I was right all along! Anyone still dreaming about Lexus' twin-turbo V8?
This combined system output has me laughing my freaking a** offI’m actually losing it lolol
Can we officially admit how pathetic this brand has become now?
The new twin-turbo V-8 was created just for the GR GT.
And there are no plans to share it in other models, either inside or outside the company.
It's a perfect car for Toyota IMO. Glad it wasn't debuted as a reminder lexus afterall Lexus is suppose to be the guinea pig for new ideas and experiment. So, I guess let them rebrand the LCF as the GR. If this debuted as a Lexus I'm sure the backlash would have broke the internet so yeah it's a perfect Toyota that would have been a terrible Lexus.
After all the slapstick stuff we did in earlier comments we could be serious for a moment. Whole purpose and existence of this car is serious take at GT3 racing. This is not LC-F but a dedicated GT3 racer that has the single aim and that's to offer significant upgrade over RC-F GT3 for their existing customers. And that is the sole reason for badge rebrand. All of their stuff when it comes to racing is now unified under Toyota Gazoo Racing (they couldn't have picked up more stupid name than that, what was wrong with Fuji) so no more segregation like Toyota Supra GT500 and then Lexus RC-F GT3 etc. Now all of it is under Toyota GR brand name, not just GR as Toyota PR people wants you to believe: it's Toyota Gazoo Racing. Crown jewel is yet to come and that's to become once again works team in F1.
Still waiting for someone to share the production V10 NB1 NSXTMC concept garage is going to be the next “Brunei’s garage”….
In 20 years someone will share some pictures of a lot never seen - almost ready - cars and we will even more angry with all of this.

Thanks for the ping @Gor134.Off topic but slightly related to the topic of LFA and paging @F1 Silver Arrows because this MIGHT intrigue you?
Here's what one member from another forum just shared with us.....
If you guys don't recall, Honda had an NB1 NSX in development.
It was cancelled due to the global economic crisis, exactly 1 month before it's scheduled debut at NAIAS.
It was fast and sounded amazing. Honda engineers were targeting a 'Ring record with this car, as well as global expansion into Europe with a lineup of RWD sedans and SUVs to compliment. What a shame none of this materialized and ended up with the weak Honda/Acura brand we have today.
