The bar is truly at the floor when I'm pleasantly surprised by an updated interior. This is what the current IS should've debuted with anyways. It's crazy how Toyota feels this should suffice. Will there be any updates to the powertrains for the US market? What happened to the 2.0 L turbo that the IS was a mule for?

I fear this lack of commitment to investing in a product will later be justification for cancelation of the product all together.

Yikes....

It looks.. just like the bad renders.

That being said I am also pleasantly surprised by the interior.

The front end has lost all the cohesiveness that the current model has. At least with Camry redesign they resculpted the lights and hood as well. This to me appears to only redesign the front bumper without updates to the lights or hood. No significant changes to the rear either.

This would count as a 2nd facelift on top of a major update of the 3rd generation IS?

Aka, 3rd Facelift for the 3IS.

So we have... 3IS(2014-2016).. 3.25IS(2017-2020).. 3.5IS(2021-2025)... and now 3.75IS(2026-) :ROFLMAO:

Oh sure, because what the world really needed was yet another refresh. Like seriously, I’m begging you for the love of God - leave this car alone. Never seen a company this shameless, refresh after refresh, taking something that was once actually authentic and just butchering it over and over. Congrats, I guess?

TMC using the same tactics to sell Daihatsus in 3rd world countries to sell a Lexus sedan in certain 1st world countries lol. They just don't care enough anymore to do any proper development of an actual new gen IS.

Lol I don't see any big difference on the exterior interior looks good too. We all knew it was going to get another refresh but before it goes away or we get what it would be replaced with.

It’s funny how the IS finally gets their updated infotainment system only for the ES to debut with an even newer one. smh…they have no solid plan for their lineup, just going based of off vibes.
