Lexus ES 300 Goes for a Swim

Somehow, Mondays and depressing Lexus videos seem to go hand & hand — last week, it was watching an IS F being crushed, and this week it’s an unfortunate parking job that results in an ES 300 taking a river bath (warning: video contains swearing Russians):

(Not that it makes watching the video any easier, but judging from the front bumper, I’d say this ES was already in the river before being almost towed out.)

I am considering purchasing a 2005 ES330, but I'm concerned after reading about the transmission problems.  I had to replace the transmission in my 1998 ES300 last year.  Also, the 2005 ES330 has 159,000 miles on it.  The dealer says they are highway miles.  In any event, it still seems like too much.  The asking price is around 10k.  Any thoughts?
