Rendered: The Lexus IS Wagon

Maybe the recent ES Wagon render wasn’t quite sporty enough for you?

Designer Sugarchow has done it again, but this time with shadowy renderings of a third generation Lexus IS wagon. As you might expect, it’s gorgeous. While it’s doubtful that such a vehicle would have production plans, this is the strongest case we’ve seen for bringing back the “IS SportCross” name:

The design of the 2021+ Lexus IS has been well received, so perhaps it’s no surprise that it works just as well when translated into a wagon… err… estate. Whatever it would be called, we love the concept and hope Lexus might consider something similar in the future.

To late, looking like a Volvo from the 90s. Lexus it out of time. And itˋs just a rendering.

Might be one of the few on this site but don’t like wagon looks at all. I’ve been to Switzerland twice with my wife and her family and I’m always like I don’t get the love of all the wagons. Just not my cup of tea I guess.

wagons are spacious and drive as well as a sedan. only reason to chose a cuv is for ground clearance, which after all none have. air suspension does not count.

I wish they would bring back the Lexus GS and just call it the Lexus IS500 GT so that Lexus doesn't have to make an embarrassing public U turn.
Give it the 3.4L TT from the LS500 and give it optional AWD. That would be my perfect sports sedan. I need more space than the IS500 provides but the LS is too expensive and large for me.
