Lexus has announced a series of new upgrades, improvements, and options for the RX lineup:
- Based on the Always On concept, the car achieves high-quality driving by further improving quietness, ride comfort and drivability.
- Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS) is now available on the AWD RX450h+ and RX350h models, improving maneuverability at low speeds and driving stability at high speeds.
- Improved interior illumination and the addition of a white interior color to the “F SPORT” model create a luxurious interior space.
- Expansion of equipment to support safer and more comfortable driving, including a 12.3-inch full LCD meter as standard on all vehicles
It’s unclear if these changes apply to all 2025 model year RXs, 2026 model year RXs, or will be a mid-year change for some 2025 RXs, but in the spirit of Kaizen, Lexus continues to invest in improvements to the RX lineup.
Quietness, Comfort, Driving Performance
Based on the “Always On” philosophy of tireless pursuit of evolution, these model improvements have further advanced the high level of quietness that has been a valued feature of the RX, while also achieving an even more high-quality driving experience. In terms of improving quietness, the noise around the rear seats has been reduced by reducing engine noise and adopting acoustic glass for the rear door windows.
With regard to driving performance, the RX’s chassis tuning has been optimized to reduce the vehicle’s up and down movement, resulting in a more controlled ride with a stable, flat feel for the driver. In addition, Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS) has been expanded to the AWD vehicles of the RX450h+ and RX350h, ensuring excellent maneuverability and stability at high speeds.
Interior Design and Functionality
For lighting, interior illumination has been added to the front of the console and increased brightness has been implemented. White has been added to the interior color options for the “F SPORT Performance” and “F SPORT” trims. The high-contrast color scheme of white and black creates a luxurious and sporty interior space. In terms of exterior design, 21-inch tires and wheels (235/50R21/dark gray metallic paint + machined luster) are now available as a manufacturer’s option for the “version L”.
The LCD meter has been changed to 12.3 inches, improving visibility of the meter panel and creating a space where the driver can concentrate more on driving. In terms of advanced safety equipment, the RX350 “F SPORT” comes standard with the advanced driving assistance technology “Lexus Teammate” *2 “Advanced Park (with remote function)”.
