Best Car is reporting that the Lexus CT could make a comeback for the 2025 model year and be positioned below the UX crossover. Most notably, rumors indicate multiple powertrain options: three types of BEV, hybrid, and gasoline engines.
The article also mentions that the CT could be co-developed with the next-generation UX as a smaller hatchback counterpart to the CUV. The CT 200h did enjoy considerable success in Europe and Japan even though it was retired from North America in 2017, Europe in 2020 and will go out of production in October 2022.
