Lexus is set to launch in Egypt starting in June with two flagship models — the LS sedan and the LX SUV.
The brand has set modest goals to start, projecting sales of 20 cars by the end of 2018 and 60-70 cars by the end of 2019. From Daily News Egypt:
“There is tense competition in the Egyptian car market, but Lexus, with its great potentials, will rearrange car market shares,” said Ahmed Monsef, CEO of Toyota-Egypt, after signing the Lexus distribution contract in Egypt.
Pricing has been announced. with the LX starting at EGP 5.1m ($284,860 USD) and the LS starting at EGP 5.75m ($321,166 USD).
