Here’s a good reason to travel through the Brussels Airport — Lexus has developed its own interpretation of the airline lounge. The space is situated inside the larger Brussels Airlines lounge, covering 700 square meters with room for 175 guests:
The design has the usual large bar surrounded by seating, but Lexus has brought some additional flourish:
There are extensive spa facilities for guests, including individual spa rooms equipped with the latest shower and toilet facilities from Grohe, while five sleep pods are provided for those who need to catch up on rest. In a separate room, people can de-stress in new multi-function hot stone reclining chairs from Panasonic. The integrated massage programmes are similar to the shiatsu-style treatments the driver and passengers can enjoy when sitting in the new Lexus LS flagship sedan.
Mark Levinson, one of the world’s leading audio specialists, has a well-established and exclusive automotive partnership with Lexus, designing bespoke systems for each of its model ranges. The exceptional quality of Mark Levinson equipment can be enjoyed in a dedicated listening room within the Lounge by Lexus.
Here’s a video from the opening yesterday:
The Lounge by Lexus is open daily from 5:00am to 9:00pm, and operates the same guest admission policy as the Brussels Airlines lounge. For more details, here’s the press release.
