Lexus and Gazoo Racing will enter a RC 200t in this year’s 24 Hours of Nürburgring, marking the 11th straight year that Lexus has participated in the historic endurance race.
Last year, the Lexus RC was affected by a powertrain issue that ultimately forced the car to retire from the race. In preparation for this year, Gazoo Racing accelerated their development cycle and have the RC performing well so far in races leading up to the main event.
The 24 Hours of Nürburgring endurance race is held at the Nürburgring in Germany from May 25-29. The drivers will be Takuto Iguchi, Takamitsu Matsui, Naoya Gamo, and Hisashi Yabuki.
