Lexus has announced its motorsports activities for 2017, and it’s a full docket with races all around the world.
24 Hours of Nürburgring Endurance Race
Lexus will enter an RC 200t in the world-famous 24 Hours of Nürburgring race for the third consecutive year. This marks eleven years of participation for Lexus in Germany’s signature endurance race.
Drivers will include Takuto Iguchi, Takamitsu Matsui, Naoya Gamo, and an
employee driver yet to be announced.
IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship
The 3GT Racing team will run two Lexus RC F GT3s in the GTD class of the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship series — Scott Pruett & Sage Karam will pilot the No.14 car, and Jack Hawksworth & Robert Alon will drive the No.15 car.
Super GT
Lexus will debut the new LC GT 500 race car with six teams in this year’s Super GT Series — here’s a breakdown of the teams:
