Lexus GS F Review from Dan Neil of The Wall Street Journal

Dan Neil of The Wall Street Journal has turned in his review of the Lexus GS F:

Two thousand, or thereabouts. That’s how many of these pharmaceutically enhanced, dripping-with-brakes Lexus GS Fs the company will import into North America this year, the brand’s makers say. That’s about the same number of 488 GTBs that Ferrari will send stateside, or Lamborghini its Huracan. This finely feathered Lexus is one rare bird.

I have never been knocked out by Lexus’s attempts at fast cars, but this one was winning me over. It retains a beautifully potent, torque-rich 5.0-liter V8, naturally aspirated and highly evolved acoustically, let’s say. The silencers have been packed with resonant materials to evoke a more “baritone” note, the company says.
