AutoGuide has published two new videos providing walkarounds of both the 2016 LX 570 and GS 200t — let’s start with the LX:
While we know that the only thing carried over from the 2015 LX’s exterior is the doors, AutoGuide’s video gives us a great look at the details with up-close shots of the front and rear ends, as well as the wheels, side profile and interior. More muscularly flared fender flares and newly contoured side flanks give the LX a greater street presence, while there’s no doubting that the dramatic spindle front end lends a new level of attitude.
Seeing the rear end in this video also gives a greater sense of the new shapes and details. The updated interior and massive 12.3” multimedia screen are also briefly reviewed, as is a quick run-through of options and capabilities.
Next up is the GS 200t video:
While the big news for the GS 200t will be how it drives, AutoGuide’s video provides a thorough glimpse into how it looks. The front end may be one of Lexus’ most dramatic applications of the spindle yet, with openings at either side of the bottom of the grille, newly separated LED DRLs and stacked LED fog lights.
Most notably, this video provides our first look at a new GS wheel – a five spoke option that is machine finished and slightly angled. Presumably, this is the new 18” wheel option for the GS 200t which should likely be standard on the GS 350. The updated interior and multimedia interface are also reviewed briefly.
