Lexus Enthusiast Podcast Episode 1: Interview with Lexus International’s Mark Templin

The first Lexus Enthusiast podcast is now available! Our special guest this month is Lexus International executive vice-president Mark Templin. Mark and I spoke for nearly 45 minutes and covered a wide range of topics, including his personal history with the brand, the state of the current lineup, how he feels about the current criticism of the RC F, and the future of F performance.

There are currently two different ways to listen to the first podcast — the first is with this handy player:

You can also download the MP3 file directly, if you prefer. I have submitted the show to iTunes as well, and will update the post once it has been approved.

Very excited to share this with everyone, please let me know what you think in the comments!

That was an amazing interview with Mr. Templin. I'm filled with excitement after hearing about upcoming halo cars, LS F and the long awaited LC F.

Great interview. P.S. GS is also my fav Lexy, but I want the new GS F to have murderous performance. I'm not no old Asian driver, I don't need the GS F to make me a better driver. Already Am. Heres to 'Hoping' for a monster GS F V10, k I'll settle for a V8. Manual, like a proper 3 pedals manual. Ok, the 6spd might be a stretch. Thanks,

I would love to see the LFA engine in the GS F, but the engine alone is $75,000, that would put the GS F at a starting price of over $100,000!

Does anyone have the transcript of this podcast? My computer could not play this podcast. Anyway, the next gen LS seems to be very promising!

Morning, Just wanted to echo all the comments made above, the interview was extremely well executed and I enjoyed every minute of it. I appreciated just how engaged you both were during the interview, and really do appreciate just how genuinely excited that Mark sounded in response to all the questions. His passion for the brand (and yours as well) really came through with all his responses and his comments. Thank you again for all the hard work that went into putting this interview together.

Unfortunately, there's no transcript of the podcast. Did you try downloading the MP3?
