Lexus has to put a supercharger to the V8 if they want to compete with the E63, RS7 and M5. The base GS outperforms both the 535i and E class in driving dynamics. Lexus has to be #1 now, don't settle for #2.

You guys are obsessed With "superchargers" and/or manuals. LOL! No, they should increase the Power output by electricity instead.

I agree with you brother. Screw the comparison because the GS already beat the competitors. I would agree it would be nice for Lexus to be #1 but I don't think that is their goal right now. It is a scary new world they are entering. Give them a little time and they will make you proud.~

The more i'm getting used to the idea that there WILL be a GS-F, the more I get a little worried that it won't be as great as it should/could...

Lexus ... The longer you take ... The worst it will be ... Because by 2016 as it should be here ... MOST of German rivals will be already with maybe OVER 550+ HP So whats the POINT?! In my opinion I prefer Lexus starts with OVER 570+ HP with lighter body and with more torque then from that moment Lexus CAN beat the German Rivals!

Lexus will make this quicker than the E63 and have better handling than the M5. This will be their first attempt and I know they will not disappoint, I am buying the Lexus GS F and yes, they are #1! Best residual, reliability, cars age gracefully and value for your money.

    Try about 575-595hp and $90,000 to $100,000

I agree. The RC F has more power than the m4 and has the same starting price.

      GS-460 Wanted
    • October 6, 2014
There's a huge gap between GS-350, V6, 306hp at $47K and GS-F, V8 575hp at $90K. Perhaps, Lexus should also make GS-460, V8, 400hp at $70K. Luxury means having more choices to choose from. Lots of enthusiasts just want a faster car than GS-350 for canyon drive on the weekend, not looking for super car for track driving.
