It's funny to see the negativity still piled on Lexus for the spindle grille (in the MT comments). Every premium manufacturer is moving to a design that has brand visibility from a mile away. Even Mercedes has moved to their large, grille-located star on many (most?) models. Lexus' move in this direction is an absolute home run, in my opinion. Most other cars just look bland in comparison.

    Exactly what I say with the design of the NX and other models most other cars from Germans 3 just look boring compared to Lexus ... MT AB and other mag can hate all they want the spindle grill took Lexus far up the ladder they even complain about the meshing on FSport models they are haters and it sucks. Lexus right now design wise on a next level. MB Audi BMW design are predictable. LEXUS not so much.

I always say that Lexus design is so far ahead of the competition and so suddenly, that people can't comprehend what they are looking at. I mean I respect Mercedes too, their design has gotten really nice. But to me, Audi and BMW just haven't changed. I guess the fans of those two brands are too use to seeing the same thing.

Essentially, people will always have their personal preferences, some people will like red and others will like black and say red is hideous, everyone has their own opinion and I cannot fight them for that. What I'm getting from Lexus is outstanding and you can tell from the increase in their sales. I don't care what people have to say about the spindle grille, it's the new face of Lexus and I love it!

    I agree! Lexus cars are looking awesome and I like the direction Lexus is going. I like that people are complaining about Lexus. It means they are scared that the car they bought or like is now not the car they want anymore. Lexus is coming with appearance and performance to go along with reliability and elegance.

THe ISF is the only Sedan model in the family photo the rest are coupes.

It is amusing to me how the 'commentors' get so emotional verbalizing their distaste for Lexus. The essential meaning of 'hate' is to ignore something/someone as if they do not exist. 'They' certainly aren't ignoring Lexus . . . which would seem to indicate something subconscious going on . . . 'They' still rant about how the ES is based on the Camry! It's been based on the Avalon (much more rear leg room) since the remodel. Aren't most premium brands based on a parent brand (Audi and VW)? It is fun though to read what they write. I've never been a fan of the spindle, but Lexus must be doing something right. Those increased sales figures (IS, GX . . . ) speak loud and clear. Brand loyalist seemed to be staying with Lexus regardless. And younger blood joining too. :)

just stay away from the comment section, they,ve gotten prejuiced and biased because of MT (johnny lieberman, i'm looking at you) and they will continue to hate on lexus even though several magazines are reporting a GOOD CHANGE (carlos lago is among them)
