Lexus Enthusiast Membership Drive Update: Funding Goal Reached

Hello everyone,

Time for a big announcement — in just one week, the Lexus Enthusiast Membership Drive has reached 101% of its $10,000 funding goal!

Thank you to all the founding members for showing their support, I’ve been humbled by this amazing response and the strong vote of confidence. This is only the beginning of our journey, and I’m thrilled to have you along for the ride.

Development of the new site is scheduled to start later this week. As an added bonus for all founding members, I’ll be setting up a private blog to share regular updates throughout the process.

To everyone that has yet to join, there are only a limited number of founding memberships left — judging by how quick the funding goal was reached, I wouldn’t expect them to last long.

This is great news KREW. Looking forward to years of great Lexus news and interaction. Let me start with a comment.It bugs me that the same beep sound is used when opening and closing my Lexus as the Toyota Corolla next to me in the parking lot. At least to me it seems to be the same frequency. Lexus should change it to a different sound. I do understand that a fair amount of research goes into finding the correct sound.

    I had the same reaction (and same with the horn) years back but then I realized I'd rather Lexus continue to focus their R&D budgets where it counts and that's on refinement and performance.
