How’s this for an unexpected story — Motor Trendrecently interviewed Scott Ian from heavy metal band Anthrax, and what does he drive? A 2013 Lexus RX 350.
(Even better, it’s a RX with the Sports Appearance package.)
And as usual negative comments by MT readers comes quickly when it comes to Lexus, especially the RX wich is the most hated by them as i can see. Comments like "grandma's car" and so on. I'm not into the american culture yet but i can say that for my grandma a car like the RX would be somethin like an Enterprise Spaceship for her wich is familiar with her Fiat Punto, i saw that all the RX drivers in my country (Italy, but i saw many of them in Germany as well) are men, about 35-40-50 yrs old. The fact that the RX is considered the most feminine Lexus sounds so weird to me.

come to the states, and you'll see what they are talking about.. mostly "soccer moms" driving them...
From Wikipedia:
The phrase soccer mom broadly refers to a North American middle-class suburban woman who spends a significant amount of her time transporting her school-age children to their youthsporting events or other activities.

It doesn't matter, you can't blame him just for that. It's limiting. Soccer mom's drives also many other kind of SUV like BMW X5, Audi q5 or minivan and crossover likeToyota Sienna and Venza. It doesn't make sense to me.
