For the second year in a row, Lexus will be entering an IS F CCS-R into the Exhibition Class of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, with racecar driver Ken Gushi behind the wheel. Last year, Ken & the IS F CCS-R finished 32nd overall.
To help promote the race, Lexus has partnered up with the Tony Hawk Foundation to create a decal for the IS F CCS-R using the names of 14,000 fans and supporters. Fans will be able to enter their names for inclusion to a Lexus Facebook post, or through Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #Lexus14K.
The Pikes Peak Hill Climb is an annual automobile and motorcycle hillclimb to the top of the Pikes Peak mountain in Colorado. The track measures 12.42 miles with over 156 turns and climbs 4,720 feet. This year’s race is on June 30th.
