Akio Toyoda to Race in Nürburgring 24 Hours Race

While on the topic of Akio Toyoda, the Toyota president will be participating in the Nürburgring 24 Hours race on May 19 & 20th, his first time taking part since 2009 when he raced the Lexus LFA.

(The team & vehicle Toyoda will be joining has yet to be announced.)

His announcement said that this isn't a private activity and that he is doing it for the company to test performance of a production vehicle under severe conditions. Last time he raced was 2009 in an LFA before it was released. Considering his recent announcement to take the company under his own wing, and that the vehicle has yet to be named, I wonder if he will be testing out a future model... RC-F, LF-LC, Toyota Supra, or LFAII?
