First Live Photos of the 2013 Lexus RX 450h F Sport

Just hours before its official reveal at the Geneva Motor Show, Autoguide has the first live photos of the new 2013 Lexus RX 450h F Sport:

Beyond the new spindle grille, the redesigned taillights are a big improvement — the clear white casing never really looked right to me, and the new red stripe gives the rear some much needed color.

The final mystery about the new RX F Sport are the performance upgrades — only a few more hours and we’ll know the full details. More soon.

Looks awkward and a bit on the ugly side. This styling wont last 6 years. Its going to look even more hideous 10 years from now.

I like the revised rear lights, it's much bolder and stands out well. I see a trend with the rear lights they're adapting on some models already. If I was in the market for this type of vehicle, this would be it.

These new pics make it looks nicer in my opinion, I like that front end (Even tho, ino im sorry, i thought kia sorento at first glance...in dept looks sexier). I think the back now looks reminiscent of the CX-9 from mazda.

In my opinion, the new GS redesign has raised the bar to the LX and RX. a Facelift is not enough. I would wait a bit, and redesign the car from ground to top. I didn't like the change. I own a 2010 and I will sell it to switch to a BMW x6 for a real treat.

    The fact that you are impersonating a man and are using the word "pretty" is awful.  If you were truly following the future of Lexus design, you would understand why they are moving towards a more diverse lineup.

I am a big RX fan but not sure this update is the greatest. I would be afraid of an overhaul to a best seller too, but the new front end looks awkward on the rest of the body. The 08 tail end will always be the best, these new lights are very Mazda like. My love for Lexus will surely win over once I see the vehicle in person, but my first initial thoughts...

    I agree the new front end does not mesh with the rest of the vehicle.  Too gaudy . . . And I could say the same for the GS and Es.  Don't like the way the spindle is designed . . . could still be a spindle look, but with a more refinement.

When I first saw those scanned pics from the brochure I was a bit worried. But judging by these pics, the F-Sport really seems so much better looking. My initial impression of the spindle was gaudy, but meanwhile it seems more defined and masculine. IMHO one of the very few problems with the RX was that it was always considered to be a girl's car. Lexus seems to have corrected that now...

I think they have only been showing the F-Sport in Black to attract a more male demographic to that model.  Increase it's male appeal..... BD

RX F Sport is looking great. Hopefully one day we'll get F Sport model with a tad more horsepower than the regular.

for me looks awesome , i love it , people please stop compering rx to x6 etc. x6 is totally dfifrent class. RX in its class looks just superb , and if you don;t see it you shouldnt be on this webpage.
