Car & Driver Reviews the 2011 Lexus IS-F

Fresh off its success at the annual Lightning Lap, Car & Driver continues their new-found love fest for the 2011 Lexus IS F with a review of the sedan in beautiful Starfire Pearl.

The review highlights the extensive suspension changes made for the 2011 model year, which sees the 416hp IS-F go from “subpar to front-runner” against the indomitable BMW M3 — a significant achievement to say the least.

If you read the article, they noted that this particular 2011 Starfire Pearl IS F was slower than other IS Fs they've driven and tested over the years. My one complaint about this article is centered around another "High and Low" comment: They mention "no gas guzzler tax" as a plus for the IS F, yet fail to mention that point when comparing the IS F's priice to the BMW M3 sedan's. Equip them equally, as Twan29 noted, and then add the gas guzzler tax to the M3. I'll bet the IS F's pricing will look better then...
