More Black Lexus LFA Videos

It’s now time for our weekly look at the black Lexus LFA that’s being tested in Japan — this time it’s three videos, and in an exciting development, we get our first glimpse of the front end:

Here’s a freeze-frame:

I wonder when we’ll see this LFA’s first public appearance — can not wait for high-resolution photos.

I always like viewing the LF-A at this sky-view angle. Just awesome. I do hope the production model will have a more sleeker, more aggressive front. Personally, the current non-production model appears friendly. Come on Lexus, bring out the true beast.

hmm... that's the old LSh with the optional side window visors they have in Japan. I live in LA, so I'd rather not have those visors. Anyways, my question is: do we need an international license to test drive some of the vehicles? Would my California license work? Do they simply ask if you're at least 18 or something?

I have my doubts that all it takes to drive this LFA is a driver's license, no matter what country it came from. ;)

@krew: lol Of course, but what about the other vehicles available for test drive? I'm planning on going to Tokyo at the end of this fall.

My God it's a beautiful machine. I think I would go there just to stand on those stairs and watch the LFA roar by.

@Travis: Are you talking about the LSh in the first video? I'm pretty sure they're the same ;-)
L
My plan for the LFA is to purchase one in 24 years. If I get my dream job which has a 6 figure starting salary straight out of college, I should be able to save up and get one of these puppies. ;-)

@WorldofLuxury: You'll need an international driver's permit to drive the cars, if outside Japan. The only vehicles your able to drive are Toyotas, no Lexus vehicles. In addition to the permit, you pay 300 yen fee + make a reservation at the Ride One counter. The course is just under a mile (1.3km) and you must obey the speed limit, which is max. 40km/h (25mph). That's why you know the staff is driving the LFA (speeding) for public demos.
