Live Lexus CT 200h Video!

And now for our first video look at the Lexus CT 200h in Brown Spice Mica (just a warning, you may want to turn down the volume):

The CT looks great on the road, even if the color isn’t my favorite — and just how good is this car going to look with bigger wheels, tinted windows & a minor drop?

(Also included in this video’s Youtube description was the suggestion that the CT 200h would have a fuel economy of 3.9l/100km, or 60mpg — which, if true, is absolutely staggering.)

At first I wasn't too impressed with the CT exterior (there isn't a Lexus I don't love), but the more I see it, the more I'm starting to think that this car will make a big impact. Can't wait to test drive one.

3.9L/100km is just almost impossible for it , but I'll seriously happy if it really done it . But the number might be not quite fair because some of the car is taped .

That's... ambitious. The car looks great for a marketing icon of a budget, luxury vehicle. It'd be nice if Lexus offers some reasonably-priced styling accessories, such as additional chrome accents, bigger and stronger-looking wheels, nicely details airvents (There aren't any air vents in the back!), and so much more.

and just how good is this car going to look with bigger wheels, tinted windows & a minor drop? Save that fir the F version. I hope. 3.9L/100Km is a little… ambitious, particularly in the real world. My Matrix does 7L/100Km, and this car is basically the same thing. The hybrid engine isn't that fuel efficient.

@RDS: @bruce: I think that Imperial MPG not the US standard in MPG ratings. Depending on where you are. By converting into US figures, its roughly the same mpg as the new Prius.

it's looking good... i'd suggest a vamped up blue, different to ths IS F and others to allow it to stand out. something slightly lighter than: http://www.momist.com/uploaded_images/THE-BLUE-CAR-720080.jpg ;-)

I think this car looks great! But i think also that if it will be a hit in Europe Lexus need to have more engine options, like the is 250 V6 and a diesel option with automatic transmission. Lexus has probebly lost many customers because they don´t have a a/t to the IS 220d diesel . But it would be great if they had a V6 and awd, then i would buy one today! KREW: Do you now any performace figures?

I would love to hear the raw sound without that singing. Yes, this car would look even better with bigger wheels and minor drop.
