Lexus LFA Desktop by Christian Thomas

I’m putting the final polish on the writeup of my Lexus LFA driving experience last week, but in the meantime I wanted to share one of the photos from Christian Thomas, who was the resident photographer at the event — check out this beautiful LFA photo:

One of the interesting things about the white LFA at the NJ event is that it was once the matte black LFA! The supercar was repainted and reupholstered for an upcoming commercial — and get this, the whole job only took two days.

(There’s still a bunch of LFA photos to come from Christian — more soon.)

Update: Turns out the LFA wasn’t reupholstered — I’ve updated the post.

Mucho gracias :-) I wonder how many prototypes we initially saw. In one of Autocar's videos, we saw two white LFAs - both seemed to have white roofs and spoilers too.

The paint job only took one day. I was at the IL event this week (I have an allocation and a deposit it) and spoke with the tech who cares for the car. You folks are doing a great job here.

@LFA Allocated: That's exciting -- have you chosen your color combination yet? (It's funny, I heard the event was going to be at the Autobahn, and I thought it was going to be in Germany. Didn't realize there was an Autobahn track in Illinois. :-D )
