Lexus Canada May 2009 sales slipped 13% under last year, with a total of 1,587 units sold—but there was also good news, as SUV sales hit their highest point ever with 913 units sold, besting the previous record by 14.1%.
Of course, this was due entirely to the success of the new 2010 RX 350, which accounted for 803 of those 913 SUV sales, and represented a 47.1% jump over last year. With the RX 350 being built in Cambridge, Ontario, Lexus Canada has a unique selling point that the vehicle is locally made, and it’s playing a big role in the vehicle’s success.
One last point—it looks like Lexus prices will be seeing a minor increase, with an average adjustment of 1.2%.
